What is broadband?

Broadband in itself is nothing. It merely refers to any types of connection that allows greater bandwidth.

Why change our broadband connection?

There are many reasons why one would like to change one broadband connection for another. Some of these reasons include : technology (different ways to transfer the data), price, throughput or service. It is the later that made us decide to change provider. Our broadband provider is a huge machine with lots of employees to which customers are just anoying numbers calling to get something fixed. And this is the one and only reason it got us to change provider. Service. Being tired to play Tetris on our phone trying to access one menu or another then discover we have chosen the wrong one and being transfered again just wouldn't cut it anymore.

What provider did we choose?

Our decision was to go with Acanac. with the only inconvenient to pay 12 months in advance but the advantage of saving a lot over the monthly price. If you are not living in their service coverage area, we suggest you go make a quick search on Google. A quick search lends me at O² Broadband for U.K. citizens. In a few seconds I see that their price for combined broadband and home phone service is very interesting and that I'd sign up right away had I been living there.
